This marks a great occasion as the General Secretariat of the Cambodian Senate, in collaboration with the Parliamentary Institute of Cambodia, has launched a two day training seminar on “Management and Leadership”. The workshop was conducted online on 12 and 13 November 2020 and attended by 36 senior management officers of the Senate, among which 10 are women.

The virtual Training Seminar on Parliamentary Responsibilities held its last day and closing ceremony on 6 November 2020. The ceremony was attended by H.E. Mr Srun Dara, Deputy Secretary General of the National Assembly of Cambodia and Her Excellency Mrs Nguyen Tuong Van, AIPA Secretary General.

On October 16, 2020, the Parliamentary Institute of Cambodia signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Cambodia Development Resource Institute (CDRI) on Cooperation and Partnership in Joint Policy Research and Capacity Development.

The Parliamentary Institute of Cambodia organized the virtual Training Seminar on Parliamentary Responsibilities that will run for five weeks from October 5 to November 6, 2020. During its opening session, 65 delegates from ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) Member Parliaments were in attendance, including those from, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
